Slough Station AFA

Working with South West Trains Avon Construction provided a footbridge and lift access to the station platforms at Slough station.

The works include the following elements:

• Reinforced concrete foundations for footbridge

• Reinforced concrete lift pits

• Brickwork and blockwork lift shafts

• Drainage and ductwork

• Tactile paving and surfacing to platforms

• Lighting

• Signage and platform and car park furniture

• Earthworks

• Removal of redundant basement on island platform

• Refurbishment of station buildings

• Crane foundations to facilitate bridge lift
